This is one of many campaigns I art directed during my last semester of portfolio class at VCU. I have a newer version of this campaign that I will later update once I get a hold of those files. The inspiration behind the art direction came from the vibrant Havaiana sandals ads I’d seen in magazines and commercials. I really liked the way the colors flowed in around their sandals…it gave off a really exaggerated, but dreamy and exciting looking experience. I wanted to mimic that look and equate it to the feeling one would get while sleeping on these mattresses.
